research shows that music aptitude diminishes if it is not nurtured. Come
join other mothers and babies as they sing, dance, and make music together.

Music Makers Year 1 - “At Home”

Classes meet
for 60 minutes / 15 weeks.
A sequential program where children learn to read and
write music through song, dance, and instrument exploration. The importance
of ensemble music making, orchestral instruments, and musical composition
will be emphasized.

Music Makers Year 2—”At the
Keyboard”
Thursday @ 4:15 pm
Classes meet
for 60 minutes / 15 weeks.
An introductory group keyboard class for young
beginners. We will connect the child’s bodily understanding of beat,
rhythm, and musical concepts to the piano while capitalizing on the child’s
love of group music-making. We’ll stress improvisation and composition as a
natural part of piano playing and further build the foundation for music
literacy.
